KCFD battles 23 fires overnight, including large house fire

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, firefighters were busy Sunday night. Crews battled a large house fire at 7419 N. Lenox Ave. where two people were displaced and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross. The fire started just before 4 a.m.


Multiple homes burn in possible fireworks-related incidents across Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Metro firefighters are coming off a busy night. The Kansas City Fire department responded to 23 fires before 8:30 a.m. Monday. Gladstone firefighters put out their second fire within an hour Monday morning at a home in the 5800 block of Northeast Buttonwood Tree Lane, this time calling in the help of the Kansas City Fire Department.


Gladstone requests mutual aid from KCMO for early morning house fire

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Gladstone firefighters, along with crews from Kansas City, Missouri, were called to a house fire on Buttonwood Tree Lane early Monday morning. Gladstone crews were initially called to 5608 NW Buttonwood Tree Lane just before 7:20 a.m. Shortly after arriving on the scene, Gladstone requested mutual aid from Kansas City to help with the fire.

Eight people are safe after an early Monday morning house fire in Kansas City, Missouri.It happened just before 4 a.m. Monday.Firefighters believe it started in the garage and moved to the rest of the house.Vehicles in front of the garage are damaged.Pets died in the fire.The home is a total loss and neighboring homes had to be evacuated overnight as the fire started to spread.
