Show-Me Kansas City Illegal Firearms Joint Investigations Nullified?!?

A rhetorical but still worthwhile question has emerged from our blog community given the current fracas betwixt gun rights vs. federal rules . . .

Of course the answer is, as always, that people in power make up the rules as they go along.

Still, the local reference is worth a peek . . .

Looking at this press release from last year about the fire captain who sold guns, especially the ending:

"This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Brad K. Kavanaugh. It was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department."

Wouldn't this kind of cooperation be illegal in Missouri, now that John C Calhoun reincarnate Mike Parson has nullified federal gun laws in Mo and made it a crime for KCPD detectives to cooperate with federal law enforcement or enforce federal gun laws?

You decide . . .
