NEWFLASH!!! FIREWORKS STILL ILLEGAL IN KANSAS CITY!!!

Not that it matters. 

Once again we start the traditional warnings and reminders about celebratory gunfire and illegal fireworks. 

This year the public safety guidance is even less convincing given the quickening breakdown of societal norms in the midst of COVID and even less faith in Democracy going forward.

Ultimately this is tragic given that real life people in Kansas City have endured tragedy because of stray bullets and the fireworks are just a reminder that the supremacy of law in the United States is still sacred for many but also nothing more than a political viewpoint among many of the more strident activists and assorted goobers.

Overland Park Fire Department reminds public of punishments for using fireworks in town
