KRIS KOBACH FOR PRESIDENT!?!?

A passionate and thoughtful argument that deserves consideration . . . Because it might have unlocked the not-so-secret weapon for MAGA and a more daring career path for a local right-winger.

Here's the pitch that's both practical and insightful . . .

Kobach's winning percentage for the six different offices he’s run for is 33%, but his winning percentage for all the Republican primaries he’s run in is 67%. In short, Kobach can be popular in Republican primaries, where he has had a strong base of support.

Which brings us to the office that Kobach should be running for: the Republican nomination for president.

Some will scoff at that, but they shouldn’t. Not only is Kobach a national figure but his heart has never been on such state issues as education and infrastructure but on national issues.

He’s worked on illegal immigration, the border wall, Trump’s 2017 “election integrity” commission, Trump’s 2020 “election fraud” legal team — the list goes on and on. In fact, Kobach was into the Trumpian mashup of illegal immigration and alleged voter fraud before even Donald Trump.

This is where his passion is, and that focus could make him a potential breakout candidate . . .

I'm convinced.

I'm certainly willing to gamble Kris Kobach's future on a great many things . . . Including new sneakers.

But I digress . . .

Read the whole thing . . .

Topeka CJ: Kris Kobach is running for the wrong office. He should be running for the Republican nomination for president.

The reality is that now might be the time for Kris Kobach to be bold and break free of the clique of Kansas establishment Republicans who never really liked him anyhoo.

You decide . . .
