KCPD, KCKPD officers involved in shooting of carjacking suspect late Sunday morning

by: Brian Dulle Posted: / Updated: KANSAS CITY, Kan. - An investigation is underway after a possible carjacking suspect was shot by officers with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department and Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. KCPD officers were pursuing a suspect involved in a possible carjacking overnight, according to KCKPD.


Authorities investigating after suspect is shot in KCK

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -- The authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened in KCK on Sunday. The shooting happened before noon in the area of N. 18th Street and State Avenue. Little information has been confirmed at this point, other than one person was shot by police and taken to the hospital for treatment.
