To wit and amid surprising opposition from senior members of council . . .
INSIDERS ARGUE AGAINST MAYOR Q LOCKING DOWN PUBLIC TESTIMONY AGAINST THE TINY HOMELESS VILLAGE ZONING NEW RULES!!!
Notice key votes to quickly move to the business session without any in-person comments from the public. There's not even a record of a zoom call we could find at the time of publication.
To be fair, there are written comments included with the legislation but mostly hidden from public view.

In two of the most controversial decisions of his administration he has overlooked, ignored or prohibited commentary from the public. He only seems concerned with council support and could care less about what the voters think . . . He's operating like a mayor for the homeless and BLM protesters. Of course he's backed up by The Star . . . But who is going to represent the taxpayers and homeowners who pay the bills for these efforts??? That's another one of many questions that neither Mayor Lucas nor his supporters have answered."
