Royals bunt into a triple play, lose embarrassing game to the Twins 2-1

Let's not bury the lede here: the Kansas City Royals and the Minnesota Twins played a baseball game, which the Twins won 2-1. During that game, however, the Royals hit into a triple play. This is rare enough; the last triple play the Royals hit into occurred on April 20, 2012, a game that featured the Holy Trinity of Yuniesky Betancourt, Chris Getz, and Jeff Francoeur.

The Pleasant Valley Fire Fighters Association announced in August 2020 that it had acquired metal from the site of the World Trade Center twin towers through a donation from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Kansas ordered less than 1% of its vaccine allocation from the federal government for this week. The state health department's disclosure Friday came as its data showed that Kansas still had nearly 593,000 unused doses. The state health department said that this week it ordered only 1,020 or 0.7% of its federal allocation of 147,660 vaccine doses.

well. It is still pretty hot out there, humid as well, pools. Probably a popular spot today, I would say. So you know, we just have a couple of little thunderstorms popping up. But in general, yeah, it's that heat and humidity. Yesterday we had a high of 87 degrees today.
