Kansas City Royals Must Fire Dayton Moore After Latest Sweep

Nearly every sports "journalist" in Kansas City is a coward.

The talkers claim to have a little more bluster but they're only really tough guys when yelling at callers.

Accordingly, here at TKC we do things a bit differently given that most talkers have deemed this place "toxic" years ago. 

To wit . . .

Sunday credit where it's due . . . His anti-pr0n messaging was actually refreshing in this cynical age. 

Even better, he took critics head on (forgive the pun) in his push back against smut . . .

Still . . . 

Pro sports history has shown us that fans would rather see winners than good guys. 

Moreover . . . Unless this town wants to wait another 27 years for playoff possibility  . . . It's time to release the GM and start rebuilding for realz. 

The latest sweep is all we need by way of proof . . .

Royals lose 4-1, swept by Rangers

I feel for everyone who was hoping today would be a new day for the Royals. Because that optimistic thinking went out the window quickly when the Rangers jumped on Brady Singer thanks to self-inflicting misuses by the young right-hander. The first batter Singer faced was Isiah Kiner-Falefa who grounded back to the pitcher.
