Kansas City Public Radio Defends Mayor Q Defunding Police

While there's not a lot of new deets about 12th & Oak plans for police, a recent bit of "journalism" from Kansas City public radio offers meticulous detail exposing the racial demographics of opposing sides in recent arguments over police funding.

Reading the report, it's extremely tough to tell where the opinion starts & where the reporting begins.

This pronouncement provides a perfect example . . .

"Lucas’s plan does not defund the police, and could even increase the department’s budget, at least in the short term, by about $3 million. But that’s not what many believe in the Northland . . ."

Increasing cash for police would be nice but one detail is missing and TKC is the ONLY news-ish outlet asking this question . . .

WHERE IS THE BUDGET FOR THE MONEY DEFUNDED/RELOCATED FROM POLICE?!?

A not-so-fun fact . . .

So far Mayor Q and his supporters have FAILED to offer any documentation about how they'll spend the funding they've hijacked.

Despite outcry over "accountability" the supporters of this cash grab have offered very little transparency in their efforts and quite a few "journalists" have contributed to the confusion by FAILING to ask about the money in question.

"Blessed be God and his angels and saints," said the leader, Francis Slobodnik, which came back in a disjointed echo, interrupted by the occasional honk.
