The incident was reported just before 8 p.m. near 31st and Highland. Police say the victim could not provide much information on what happened and was taken to Truman Medical Center.

JACKSON COUNTY, MO (KCTV) -- A Kansas City man has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally stabbing a woman in 2019. According to the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office, 29-year-old Keyon D. Patterson was sentenced to life in prison or 30 years after being convicted of second-degree murder.
