WyCo Sheriff investigating woman's body found near Turner Diagonal
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Wyandotte County Sheriff's Department is investigating a homicide near the Turner Diagonal Bridge this morning. A visitor to the boat ramp discovered the woman's body and called 9-1-1 shortly before 7:00 a. m. KCK police officers arrived and discovered a black female in her 60's.

Police in Kansas City, Kansas, have launched a homicide investigation after a woman's body was found near the Kansas River early Saturday morning.Officers received a 911 call from the Turner Boat Access at 6:49 a.m. The caller said they found a body lying on the ground near the boat ramp.Authorities arrived on scene and found a woman in her 60s.
