Her post earned sympathy and some sage advice but TOP ECHELON insiders pose another important question . . .
"What good is it to buy these mansion in the urban core if you're just going to become a target for potshots and potentially deadly gunfire?!?! Random or otherwise!!! This is just one more sign that rising violence effects EVERYONE not only people coping with poverty but also the elite who want to invest in the future of Kansas City.
The best advice given to the homeowner was to call police.
TKC's suggestion of wearing a helmet at all times was politely ignored.
Nevertheless, this news is important for every Kansas City resident at the outset of Spring/Summer when celebratory gunfire and stray bullets are rampant.
