shooting 40th, benton boulevard SOURCE: KMBC Kansas City police are investigating a shooting Wednesday evening near 40th Street and Benton Boulevard.Authorities said the shooting was reported just before 6 p.m.Investigators said a police officer on patrol heard gunshots and found a man who had been wounded.Police said the victim has life-threatening injuries.
