KCPD Scatter Downtown Sideshow

Call it a Sunday sign of progress, thanks to an important move from Mayor & Council . . . KCPD now have the tools to push back against ruffians taking over streets. 

In heavily populated areas like downtown and other entertainment districts, this is exceptionally important given that pop-up streets events gained local popularity during COVID lockdowns.

Just before 10 p.m. Saturday near Union Station in Kansas City, dozens of cars gathered in a nearby intersection, did donuts and participated in a side show.Within minutes, police showed up and the crowd scattered.
