Kansas House passes bill to legalize medical marijuana, moves to Senate

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Kansas House has moved forward with a bill that would legalize medical marijuana in Kansas, voting 79-42 Thursday. The bill will now head to Senate. Earlier this week, a House committee approved the measure to send it to the full House, a first in Kansas.

  1. This is a great revenue stream for all of these states. This is about tax revenue, period.

  2. While I don't think I would ever use it I know there are conditions and people that can get pain relief through medical use of marijuana. For that purpose alone I would support this measure but I hope we don't approve recreational use of the product.

  3. No jobs anywhere else. We always look for vices to save our lives. Maybe we can be like Oregon, legalize every thing. Watch our kids and future go South. Mexico would be a great example of our future.
