Kansas City Streetcar Celebrates 5th Birthday

The toy train hits a milestone achieved by gerrymandering local voting districts and a rigged mail-in ballot. Meanwhile, real estate speculation and hype along the mainstream corridor has ramped up but doesn't seem to impress so many hobos and and lowlifes (like TKC) who inhabit the area.

  3. HA HA HA HA HA This is so funny. Do the math that would mean the streetcar would have to have 5,000 riders daily and that's not even close to the number of people who ride it especially in the winter. Kinda like Sly James 25 million tourists. Do these people who make this crap up think we are stupid or just gullible.

  4. If only we had a truly independent (non-woke) TV station that would hold city government's feet to the fire (instead of two hours of weather, which one can find on line in one minute), and the same bland 30 minutes of non-controversial crapola spewed by the usual suspects, who are only concerned about advertising dollars and losing access to the corrupt politicos and deal makers.

Most businesses would be afraid to advertise on suck an outlet, but I think Missouri, being a Red state, would see a good number of citizens (me included) would be eager to subscribe financially. The majority of folks posting on here are conservative, or right of center. I would put money where my mouth is. Such an outlet could turn this shitty around.

PERHAPS SOMETHING LIKE "TKC TV". ???????

  6. In the meantime, the Main Street Max bus is free and is faster than the streetcar with none of the fixed rail limitations of the streetcar.
