KMBC: Providence Medical Center Amphitheater, née Sandstone, has yet another new name

Deets . . .

Officials announced Monday that Providence Medical Center Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas, shall henceforth be known as Azura Amphitheater. 

However, be it out of pride or stubbornness, Kansas Citians have for years continued to call the venue by its original name — Sandstone Amphitheater.

You decide . . . But keep calling it Sandstone, please . . .

I like sandstone, but it's been decades since I've been out there and I can't ever remember any major concerts there in recent memory. Back in the 90s it was the place to be though
