Kansas City 'Internement Camp' History Exposed

For those who haven't seen it already, here's a worthwhile historical not-so-fun fact that involves the tragic legacy and complicity of this town . . . Checkit:

President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 in 1942 and ordered “all persons of Japanese ancestry” into internment camps. Although there weren’t any camps in the Midwest, a small group of former internees landed just outside of Kansas City later that year.
