A former paraprofessional at Blue Springs High School pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to producing and distributing child pornography.The U.S. attorney's office said Steven B. Allen, 45, of Independence, Missouri, pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography over the internet.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The man charged with exchanging gunfire with police in March 2019 outside a Mission elementary school has pleaded guilty to three counts connected to the incident. The Johnson County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday afternoon that Dylan Ruffin has pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and one count of firing a gun into a occupied home.

Morales-Sagastume, 23, and Cristian J. Lopez-Catalan, 28, have been charged with one count of possessing heroin to distribute.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder after police found a man shot to death Sunday in a car in Grandview. Davion Lamont Fugate, of Grandview, is charged in Jackson County Court with second degree murder and armed criminal action, according to a court document.

UMKC student charged in March shooting death of man
KANSAS CITY, MO (AP) - A grand jury has indicted a University of Missouri-Kansas City student on second-degree murder and armed criminal action counts in the March shooting death of another man over what police called a gambling feud. Zyan Teague, 21, is charged in the March 20 death of 31-year-old Byren Dennie, of Kansas City, the Kansas City Star reported.

JOHNSON COUNTY, KS (KCTV) -- The FBI launched a series of billboards in a 1998 murder that's now under federal investigation. Rhonda Tribue was 34-years old at the time of her murder. She was found beaten to death in a remote area of Kansas City, Kansas near Edwardsville.
