Kansas City Blogging Racial Justice

We share a bold insight hidden in today's sermon from this town's most prolific writer on faith & morals . . .

"What I noticed about many of the protesting crowds is that they were made up not only of Black people, but of people of all colors. It gave me some hope that at least some part of the white population in the U.S. finally was starting to take seriously the need to reject the destructive attitude of white supremacy on which our country was built."

Working on racial justice issues requires deep honesty

In a few weeks we will mark the one-year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. It was the event that kicked off a long series of protests around the country by people...

  1. Destructive attitude of white supremacy on which our country was built?????? If that's true then why do the black people and white protesters who stand with them vote for white supremacy and hate on the ones who reject white supremacy? Will Quigg the grand dragon of the KKK in Cali will tell you that white supremacists are and always have been democrat. This isn't a black white issue it's an issue of the globalists who want to divide and conquer the people and the idiots who are out protesting for racial equality are falling for their propaganda and that's sad to be that stupid. Just like BLM has nothing to do with black lives it's a political issue and an issue of who controls the people.

  10. Bill writes a blog, watches protests, and opines on issues in which he has no real impact on. That's the life of an unemployed writer. Instead of tearing down our country, I encourage Bill to get a job on the police force. He can become the change he wants to see in our country. He can go and help protect battered spouses on a domestic disturbance calls, help tape off scenes after kids are murdered on our streets on a nightly basis, do some traffic stops for dangerous vehicles with broken lights or stolen tags. Then, after some real experience in our community he can write about police reform.

  11. I support racial justice, but what black people want is something way different than racial justice.

  12. 6:11...Bill allowed an atheist to actually threaten people. It got so bad the police were called. I believe a lawsuit was filed. I think that is the real reason he does not allow any comments on his blog.
