Organization takes over program providing hotel rooms for Kansas City's homeless
There is new management for a program providing hotel rooms for Kansas City's homeless.A month ago, Kansas City opened hundreds of hotel rooms for people experiencing homelessness. Since then, the program has gone through growing pains.Another organization, Lotus Care House, recently took over.
Clusterfk the sequel.
ReplyDeleteThis new "organization" may be providing the "programs".
ReplyDeleteBut who's picking up the tab for the hotel stays and all the damage?
Dig deep, KCMO taxpayers.
Give until it hurts for the homeless jerks!
ReplyDeleteAnd every news program today is talking about how employers can't find people willing to work.
ReplyDeleteWhy is City Hall against anti-labor? Clearly this is no union busting operation. Hotels in the city don't have a unionized labor force. The squeeze on these poor folks is embarrassing
ReplyDeleteLotus Care House, affiliated with LOTUS HOSPITALITY. It's an inside grift, the City is allowing the very owners of the hotels they're spending big money at to run the program. It couldn't be any more obvious that the fix is in and the City will continue, indefinitely, to spend big money at those hotels.
ReplyDeleteIn KCMO, just follow the dollars.
The homeless can go fuck themselves. What a bunch of losers and dregs on society. All they are going to do is ruin hotels and piss and shit everywhere.
ReplyDeleteLook at that bed bootlicker. You can clearly see the mattress is already worn out. The hotels are charging the city a premium rate for rooms with defective equipment. The hotel industry is a cartel like the mafia. If you ever been to South America where there's a large military presence you'll find three Cartels that run the country
ReplyDeleteLotus method of a homeless ghetto to ease the conscience of the banks and real estate holders will not suffice. KC Homeless Union has organized 300 card carrying members and deserve the right to organize for the human rights of working class people.
ReplyDeleteRather than a slush fund for the cartel who expects their cut off the top, why can't they give back to the community after the worse pandemic in a century?
ReplyDeleteKC Homeless Union has a plan to reduce the killing of women in Kansas City but the powers that be like Real Estate, Banking & Big Ag don't want to hear any of it. Homeless people are grease in the cog that makes this city churn. Unfortunately, there is a great deal of suffering going on that shows up in murder, rape, suicide and overdoses the powers that be find insulation to completely ignore.
ReplyDeleteDemanding a fair economic system for working people is a going to be a tough fight.
