  1. I'm 100% for freedom without a helmet. But for cripes sake, wear one on the highway and in heavy traffic. I think about all the debris that hits my windshield. What's that going to do to your face?

  2. It's not like it was years ago. Riding motorcycles is not safe with as many cars that are on our streets and highways. Then there is the way people drive today and the road rage that factor in. We live in different times now and soon things are going to explode and get even worse. It's just not safe out there for a cycle.

  5. I see a lot of motorcyclists weaving in and out of lanes during rush hour; in between cars at high rates of speed.

Most of their accidents appear self inflicted by riding dangerously.

  6. But the cyclists "die doing what they love"!

Actually thats a stupid statement since they dont enjoy dying. But people always say that.

But I have neighbors in the 90's that drive, they are blind as a bat, can't even stay in a lane, are lost all the time and they would turn in front of a motorcycle and never give it a thought. Really want to trust your life to my neighbors?

  7. According to NTSA statistics, Motorcycles account for only 3% of all licensed Motor Vehicles, but are involved in 54% of all Vehicular Fatalities annually.
Also, of those Fatalities, 93% are "Single Vehicle" accidents.

    RIDE FREE, TRUMPSTERS!

  8. One study showed the vehicle driver is at fault 60 percent of the time in collisions with motorcycles.

  11. Parachuting fatalities....their left behind loved ones always say "he died doing what he loved with the wind in his hair" Same for deceased motorcycle riders.

Is life not important to these people? Wind in hair be damned! I can live without wind and the sound of a harley that putts like a lawn tractor with a rusted out muffler. Putt, putt, putt, crash kabooboom!

I feel sorry for the EMT crews that respond.

  12. ^^ yet , you drive or ride in a car and they kill more people than " the wind". You also text, ditto. Smoke ? Smoke Weed? drink? Hell, your more likely to get killed by a hoodie rat than the wind. You think much before you type a reply ? you should.

  13. Many car drivers don't think to themselves to look for an approaching motorcycle. That's why I gave it up. Too many stupid car drivers who didn't have any awareness about the two-wheeled vehicles on the road.
