"I wouldn't be surprised to see a hung jury in this case. There's a lot to debate about what happened inside the courtroom and the rush to judgement of many people across the nation.
It only takes one person to hold out and essentially put a stop to this proceeding.
Accordingly, it's important to think about the possibility of a mistrial and communicate the complexity of the court system to the public. People want a showdown or some definitive answers from the court, that doesn't always happen and while a hung jury will be interpreted by some as a miscarriage of justice.
