A progressive local activist group works to offer access in the urban core.
To be fair, this seems like a nonpartisan gesture of goodwill from this longstanding organization.
"After a successful November 2020 election, we're excited to again offer this service to those who need it," said Garrett S. Griffin, Communications Director at CCO. "We hope to give more rides every election, regardless of whether it's a presidential race or a local vote."

Communities Creating Opportunity offers free rides to the polls for April 6 elections
Courtesy of CCO. Do you want to vote April 6 but aren't sure how you will make it to the polls? Communities Creating Opportunity (CCO) has the solution: a free ride to the polls. For the second year in a row, CCO will provide residents of the following zip codes a ride to the polls: 64109, 64127, 64128, 64130, 64132....
This group is a huge supporter of the e-tax so sure they want to give you free rides and make you feel guilty and vote yes for them.
ReplyDeleteLet no dirty underhanded deed go unnoticed.
ReplyDelete^^How is this a "dirty underhanded deed"?
ReplyDeleteIt's called Democracy.
ReplyDeletefree ride..plus $50 pay-off! .. to those voting YES to the e-tax scam
Gotta get you numbskulls to the polls to vote for the e-tax!

ReplyDeletehmmm..mostly black zip-codes...
The funny thing is the bus will take them to multiple places to vote, when I’m in line those people have someone else’s bills and they claim they just moved and the bill is the only thing they have to use as proof that they live there, they actually got configured once and mixed up the address that they were supposed to use at the next polling place.
ReplyDeleteI have some friends and we are going to follow these buses and video the whole thing, breaking news on Wednesday during mayor mcdumbo’s press conference the next day!
Byron, and similar programs where you live? Where is that? Not even in MO?
ReplyDeleteThought not. Only Tony lets you post. Nobody else wants to read your lefty bullshit.
This is the perfect time to vote NO on the E Tax. This will open avenues for the city to help the less fortunate.
ReplyDeleteMore lib freebies. Buying votes as usual.
ReplyDeletehi while I am giving you a free ride lets talk about hmm say potlitcs and why your should vote for more taxes. Guess what thats a crime.
ReplyDeleteWho needs a liberal Karen in an aging Toyota Prius to take them to the polls? How miserable and pathetic are you as a human being that this is what your life has devolved to? Grow up. Be a man. Get a job. Get a life. Upskill yourself. Do not be the slave of the earnings tax. Move to Overland Park, work in Overland Park, and keep that 1% of your earnings instead of forking it over to the Big Karen government of KCMO.
