The newspaper is taking a bold stance from behind their paywall:
"Profiles in cowardice: KC’s biggest employers silent on efforts to restrict voting"
That's an interesting premise but the headline author ignores so much developer and corporate advocacy in pursuit of tax breaks - A practice that's lamented but widely accepted and reveals that cowtown big biz does enough damage looking out for their own interests. Sadly, it's not worth paying 2 bucks to find out how the lame premise is supported.
Here's a better examination of the issue:
The Hill: Why we should be leery of companies entering political fray
You decide . . .
It's called companies having "big balls" against the Libtards.
ReplyDeleteRestrict voting? You mean by showing an ID?
ReplyDeleteWhite Guilt Daily doing white guilt shit.
BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS ABOUT LIBTARDS AND THE BLACKS AM I RIGHT OR WHAT?
ReplyDeleteThe corporations better get in line with the Libtard way of thinking or else they'll be taxed out of existence. "Get woke or go broke," says Basement Biden as he counts his millions that Hunter has secured for him from the ChiComs and Ukraine.
ReplyDelete^^BRCAUSE ITS ALWAYS ABOUT LIBTARDS AM I RTIGHT OR WHAT?
ReplyDelete^^ What he said.
ReplyDeleteIt seems unlikely that these other serious companies will follow the Star's "lead" on pretty much anything.
ReplyDeleteLemmings going over the cliff doesn't seem to be their thing.
And, unlike the Star and Lucas, they understand that the demands of self-appointed "activists" NEVER end.
This latest "trend" will pass soon and the short attention-span media and public will move on to the next outrage or cause.
Sad.
Yeah, why aren't local businesses following the successful business model of the KC Star?
ReplyDeleteI will dance in the street the day the Star shuts down. Can't be soon enough, disgusting excuse for a newspaper
ReplyDelete^^You'll be long dead gramps. Rest assured we'll all be dancing in the streets when you kick it though.
ReplyDeleteIs that what the monkey science is saying Dr. Chimpy?

^^Huh? What the fuck is this mess of shit? Does anybody speak geezer fucktard?
ReplyDelete^^^Nobody can dumb it down far enough for you to understand. Stop asking.
