For all his good intentions, it's very likely that a celebrated KCMO politico will never pass any of his own legislation during his tenure; very much like his past two predecessors.
Accordingly, bringing up LGBT rights during a COVID vaxx debate is a notable but essentially unproductive gambit that plays well on social media but doesn't actually accomplish much.

Most of the state of Missouri couldn’t care less about homosexuals. It’s hard for Kansas City people to grasp because we have so many homosexuals here, prancing around.
ReplyDeleteWhat a useless, meaningless, and pointless offering by Razer. There is no LGBTQRST discrimination in the State offices or in the public sector. In kids sports, its discrimination to allow males to play against females. Despite the we're all 100% equal in all things progressive screeching, life simply sticks its nose up at us (well them anyway) and says there are identifiable differences btw male and female in all species. If the lettered protected class feel like their own sports league, well form one up. Much like the little Christian private schools have "sports" leagues, they travel around and compete against their "own". LGBTQRST unlike Christian school kids, would no doubt be able to get full funding from their public schools for fear of discrimination. That way Title IX remains intact, they get to compete on an even level (until the trans females start repeatedly losing to the trans males) in the sports of their choices.

Although i hate the politics and the misgivings of this mayor, gays dont face discrimimation in this city. If you do, it is probably something else about you than your sexuality

Rather than just quietly doing whatever their queer thing is, they simply are not satisfied unless they try to justify their queerness by shoving it down straight's throats (pun intended).
