A fond memory from a South Side blogger . . .

"Blue River Road was once a beautiful, winding path through a large county park, and was a vital means of transportation for many who didn’t want to deal with highway traffic, congestion, or traffic lights. At one time it was an excellent way to unwind while driving home from work. It also provided an enjoyable outing for many bicyclists, especially on weekends."

  12. Maude was a spinoff of golden girls, or maybe the other way around, and not a bad show, holds up better than many shows from that era. would love it if someone could recall what night of the week it was on, what time, what network, and what the rival shows going up against it were. i've only seen in on the medicare ad, rerun channels on free tv, they were before my time. back when tv wasn't just assholes sitting on a couch being snarky plus the gay wad character and the token black character the formula is so tired nowadays
