Pandemic Created Massive Backlog At Johnson County Courthouse. Here's The Plan To Deal With It

The closure of courtrooms for the pandemic has left Johnson County with such a big backlog of cases that it will mean hiring four temporary employees in the district attorney's office to work for the next two and a half years.

  1. No big deal. The same thing is happening in JACO. JPB handles this by going on a run for charity/political capital, granting interviews to her favorite reporters, doing TV pressers railing against the police. Anything to deflect from the fact that cases are backlogged and she's not doing her job.
