Did blacks sell their prisoners to arab slavers? yes. Pray on Sunday morning go to the slave auction in the afternoon. Be a good christian and love thy neighbor, unless you can make a buck owning one.

A small number may have participated in the practice but that does not erase the fact that the elimination of chattel slavery throughout the west was motivated by a Christian impulse that derived from the commandment to love our fellow man.
