COVID Spiked Kansas City Dropouts

The pandemic taught us quite a few things but mostly that the world now lives online and real world education really isn't that important OR at least it's the first thing that sacrificed when there's trouble.

Tragically, a great deal of certification for access to salary advancement and opportunities for any kind of meaningful socialization are still confined to outdated institutions like schools and universities.

And so, reports about dropouts are important for everyone because it means there will be fewer people with options on local streets.

Missing students: Kansas City, Missouri, school leaders notice sustained drop in enrollment

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - There's a common bond between school administrators working in the public school system in Kansas City, Missouri and the city's charter schools: a puzzling drop in student enrollment. At Citizens of the World Charter Schools, enrollment for the 2021-22 school year is down 35 percent.

  2. KCPS have lied for years about attendance. I’m sure they will find them to keep the cash flowing.

  3. KCPS isn't the only district afflicted by this - we're going to see either a significant drop in graduations over the next two years or a significant reduction in graduation requirements.
