Bird Scooters Coming Soon To KCK As Hipster Demand Declines

The local tend is fading as even youngsters seem concerned about the environmentally unfriendly impact of this technology.

More importantly, we don't think our friends across the state line will be as courteous to trendy youngsters crowding local streets and sidewalks.

Bird, UG reach deal to add scooters in Kansas City, Kansas - Kansas City Business Journal

The Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, announced Tuesday that Bird scooters are now available for rent in KCK. The electric scooters can be used on roads and in bike lanes and have a maximum speed of 15 mph. The UG said scooters must be parked out of the way of pedestrians and never blocking driveways.

  3. This idea was the "latest" fad about five years ago.
    Apparently it takes even longer for the present to arrive in KCK than in KCMO.
    Seen anyone in bellbottom pants lately?
