TKC MUST SEE!!! HISTORIC 18TH & VINE 'HOUSE OF HITS' BUILDING COLLAPSES AFTER KANSAS CITY RAIN!!!

This town's historic Jazz District suffered another setback today.

KCMO owns this property that's now mostly rubble.

SPECIAL THANKS TO A KICK-ASS TKC READER WHO SENT THIS SHOT!!!

3rd District Councilmember Melissa Robinson offered this assessment and a request for more funding on top of 100 MILLION BUCKS sent to the district since the 90s . . .

"Sad day today at 18th and Vine. The historical House of Hits building collapsed. City staff responded quickly to help secure the area. It is my hope that we will pass phase II of funds needed to address blighted buildings owned by the City."

Technically, this might not be covered by the Prez Biden COVID bailout as this cotown waits on a check from the feds like the rest of the nation.

  12. Well just goes to show ya that Lucas put all that Jazz Dist. money in his pocket. Look to him and put the blame where blame is due. I say he needs to go to jail for stealing money from the tax payers and lying about it. Didn't his ignorant parents teach him stealing is wrong and not everything belongs to him? I guess they don't know any better either.
