SHOW-ME GUN RIGHTS COMING SOON TO KANSAS CITY STREETCAR?!?!

The toy train discourages firearms aboard their fixed rail adventure. However, red state politicos have stepped up their work to advocate for the 2nd Amendment against the Prez Biden administration.

Sadly, the gun debate will become more important as the line extends into the often "volatile" Main Street corridor.

Missouri bill would allow guns on public buses, streetcars

Missouri bus riders and other public transportation users could bring guns with them under a bill advancing in the state House. The Republican-led chamber gave the proposal initial approval in a voice vote Wednesday. Currently, firearms and other dangerous weapons are not allowed on public transit.

  4. The bill actually specifies persons with CCW permits and not just anyone. While in MO you’re not required to have a CCW to carry a firearm (if legally permitted to do so i.e. non felon, domestic abuse, mental health), having a permit does provide additional legal permissions and locations to carry. We all know, especially based on the shootings that have already happened on KC buses, that people who are committed to violence and illegal activity don’t follow the rules and laws anyway and carry guns. This is a legal move for those citizens who take the laws and training seriously. Not just exclusive to KC or STL, but other cities in the state too.

  5. Thugs and thugettes have followed their own laws for decades of bringing guns on public transportation. You're lucky if you never saw them.

  12. I have a CCW and you couldn't pay me to visit Kansas City. That municipality will not receive one more cent of my money as long as I live and I've got a lot of time left on this side of the grass. Besides, it's fun watching that shithole rot. 😏🍿🥨🍺

  13. If someone insists in carrying a deadly weapon onto a bus then to be honest I would prefer it be in a holster or displayed so I know the dude has a gun so I can stay away from him. The ones who hide it in their pocket so they can start a fist fight then end it if they start getting their ass kicked then claim self defense. That’s who you need watch out for. Like that armed motorist George Zimmerman in Florida who slated the unarmed pedestrian
