Kansas City Should Probably Closely Watch Derek Chauvin Trial In Death Of George Floyd

The verdict is all but assured but, then again, nothing is guaranteed in this life.

Accordingly, the legal aftermath to MONTHS of rioting last year will anger extremists, embolden criminals, spark activist outrage and has the potential to set the nation on fire yet again. It's as important as any football game but not at all fun.

Let's not forget that Kansas City's oldest entertainment district was decimated by protesters angered after the alleged murder of George Floyd by way of a horrific snuff video that earned global news coverage.

Even worse . . . We expect progressive politicos across the nation to weigh in and worsen the partisan divide with desperate attempts to mug for the spotlight. Meanwhile, mainstream conservatives don't want any part of this discussion and will dutifully remain silent whilst their alt-right counterparts risk driving away voters and/or sacrifice their careers as pundits with sketchy racially charged arguments.

The debate over police tactics will, justifiably, persists as crime numbers continue to creep up in big cities across the nation.

This one won't be as flashy as the O.J. trial but might be far more important in determining the fate of the nation.

    1. Maybe the victim is Chauvin. Americans are innocent until proven guilty, that's obviously not happening here.

    2. Really? Americans are innocent until proven guilty???
Bullshit liar, George Floyd and uncounted thousands have been summarily executed by a government official for suspicion.

    3. You're exactly right. Even if he knowingly tried to pass a counterfeit $20, that does not constitute the death penalty! An officer Is not a judge or a jury.

  3. Chauvin cannot get a fair trial in Minneapolis and maybe not anywhere in the U.S. due to that video of him kneeling on the drug addled thief’s neck for too long being spread all over the internet. This tragedy will claim another victim.

  4. The funny thing is that Byron is just as predictable in his opinions and responses as the "other side" is. When your perspective on any issue always aligns with your favorite "commentator / source", it's a good sign you rarely think for yourself.

  5. No way he gets knelt on if:
    1. He does not pass fake bill.
    2. He does not resist arrest.

  6. The video looks pretty damning, and numerous law enforcement experts have discussed why that particular technique is no longer allowed by many departments. The real question seems to be whether the prosecuter overcharged and if intent can be proven. I tend to think that's why the prosecuter tried to add a lesser charge last week, thay are worried about the same.

  7. Derek Chauvin is innocent and the autopsy report proved that.

Look at Bryon Funkhouser's comment. He loves crime and supporting everything evil. He doesn't even repay his neighbors for taking care of his lawn. He's a total taker, loser, and loves to call evil good and good evil.

  13. I hope the Chauvin trial does not turn into a three ring circus like the televised OJ trial did. Prosecutor Marcia: New designer dress and hairdo nearly every day. Prosecutor Johnny: "Lemme aks you dis den...." Judge Ito: Channeling Henny Youngman.

  14. The prosecution has 14 lawyers.
They would never think of prosecuting a black man with no where near that number of lawyers. Do not forget the prosecution also has unlimited money and resources in this case to obtain their agenda. AND the media adds it BLM leanings to try and tilt the scales of justice in fear of black retribution.

George Kirby is another covid statistic. Not a murder victim. But if someone did murder him, it was Trump. And America. But mostly a constitutional republic. And freedom.

So are you saying Floyd would have died when he did if Chauvin had not had his knee on Floyd's neck for nine minutes?

It must be sad Chimpy, to wake up daily, sometimes even forgetting your pussy ^^marks, knowing all you have to offer are inane comments on other folk's posts. You contribute nothing, and your childish satire is lacking any hint of being clever. Obviously unemployed, your future is pretty dim. You must be envious of those you ridicule, knowing they have so much more in their lives that's positive than you'll ever achieve. Well, it's probably time for you to start with the “weirds” and your pathetic pussy ^^marks.

  24. Those of us who don't steal, murder, loot or assault police officers are still alive.

    Pretty easy accomplishment.

Too bad Floyd didn't learn those principals after multiple "re-do's" during all the crime and his assaults on police officers over the years.

  25. New info shows pills in the Mercedes and same pills in the cruiser that contained DNA from Floyd's saliva. Video in the Mercedes shows white tablet on tongue. Video from 2019 arrest shows Floyd acting same way but no claustrophobia, and that time he ingested the drugs rather than be caught holding, had to go to the hospital for overdose. Enlarged heart too. Block atery. BTW the main drugs in his system was methamphetamine and fentanyl pill combo. This f@@ker was dead man walking, sitting, laying, whatever. The confrontation and knee probably did launch him into the bp stratosphere, but he was not murdered by the cop.

  26. Chimpy bores me. Hoo hooo hoo ha ha!!!! And yes, the felonious scumbag, George Floyd died of a drug overdose and a bad heart. He wanted to die. He had nothing going for him in life.

    ReplyDelete
  27. WHy ? Does Kansas city have a large amount of Fentynal overdoses ? Or just the crowd that jumps on every event by labeling it Racist ?

    ReplyDelete
  28. This would have been just another day in the neighborhood if the cops had been black. Ambulance chasing attorneys (Ben Lightnin'Crump) and the must convict DA, a total of 14 lawyers for the prosecution seek to counter their own medical examiner for the purpose of convicting a 19 year white cop and all the other non black officers there that day. This over a violent career criminal and drug addict that put himself in harm's way by lifestyle, commission of a crime while high on illegal dangerous drugs then overdosing.

  29. This is the same George Floyd that stuck a gun to his baby man’s stomach? The same George Floyd who had enough meth on his system to kill an elephant this George Floyd? Same George Floyd passing counterfeit money? Why didn’t BLM help him? Where was the Reverend Al Sharpton? Kamala Harris help him.....she was bailing out looters and rioters. Come on man!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Get your plywood now ! Body cam shows St. Floyd placing fatal dose of fentanyl in mouth, sitting on his tongue before he swallows it. No conviction. Urban areas insurance companies have your new rates already figured out.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Chauvin's best defense is to show "ALL" of the Metropolitan Police video that has not been seen by 99% of America or the world. The problem started when the fake bill was passed. There is about 8-10 minutes of video that show Floyd resisting arrest and interfering with the police doing their job. It doesn't completely exonerate police in Floyd's death but it will lessen any charges. Floyd refused to follow any of the police directives and his behavior along with the drugs in his system were things contributing to him dying that day.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Floyd was a career criminal with a violent past who was caught stealing and resisted arrest. The fact that he is considered a hero speaks volumes about a certain community.
