Kansas City East Side Faith Leader Coalition Against KCPD Chief Advances

Not exactly a newsflash and here's our hot take . . .

Not since the FAILED effort to CANCEL THE PASEO have we seen such unanimity among Kansas City urban clerics.

To be fair, they aren't lying about this item in their litany of complaints . . .

The letter also cited the "lack of a working relationship" between Smith and Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney Jean Peters Baker.

Please describe the "Faith Group". I'm going to assume they are almost 100% black. These fat revs sow discontent and hate among their followers. Thinly disguised mouth pieces for BLM. Maybe I'm wrong, but doubt it.

  2. They just want a scalp so that they can feel powerful. It would be more interesting to hear how these ‘Revs’ plan on reducing the violence in their neighborhoods. Oh, they don’t have any idea how to do that do they?

  3. "Faith Leader"=fat fake preacher, neighborhood grifter, who does nothing for his community but deliver its votes at the right time to the right people.

People are murdering each other in your neighborhood and you are doing zero about it.

  4. The Chief just didn't kiss enough ass for their taste.

  5. So the prosecutor declares war on KCPD and refuses to work with THEM, and the Police Chief is guilty of fostering a poor working relationship? JPB is the problem, not Rick Smith.

The fake reverends need to focus on the well being of their flocks. There is more and more black on black crime and death and it isn't just in KC, look at Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Birmingham, New Orleans, San Francisco, Baltimore, New York, DC, Portland, Seattle, Denver, St Louis, Memphis. The problem is not with Smith, the problem is that the Black community don't believe that black lives matter and the rev's don't grab headlines if they take the real problem makers to task. I hope Rick Smith just says FY to the rev's and walks away and see the problems in KC just get worse. Nothing gained.

  7. Wasn't this police chief the one who kneeled in the street while the riots were going on? So it's more like he isn't doing enough for the BLM and no matter what anyone does it won't be enough for them. That's been seen for years. Black people need to know not all cops are going to kneel to BLM and there will be more Michael Brown's and George Floyd's deal with it or get your act together or leave.

  8. These "faith leaders" need to stick to much simpler things that they might be good at.
    Like re-naming streets.
But apparently, they aren't even any good at that.
Record black-on-black homicides and never a peep.
    Sad.

  9. There are no faith leaders who aren't hypocrites on this issue. JESUS said give to Ceaser what is Ceasers, give to God what is gods. Black faith leaders like corrupt Cleaver is one of many systemic problems with the black community. Even if a Black man is the master of the plantation, you are still working for the master. Wise up

  10. Sounds pretty racist of them....did they call for Forte's firing when the murder rate went up!!

    just askin' for a friend

  11. Why are negro rev’s so racist?

  12. He's white so he can never do enough to satisfy their unconscious racial bias and hatred. MLK is rolling over in his grave at the teachings of BLM and its followers.

  13. And yet he's not going anywhere. Weird.

  14. Misleading. You don't need a probable cause statement to file charges. The prosecutor can do that off of any of the initial offense or investigative reports she has access to. I highly doubt the police are hiding anything. The prosecutor has prosecutorial discretion and can file on anything she has "probable cause" to believe happened. It's all smoke and mirrors and pandering. Most police do the statement as a courtesy to the prosecutors office. Sounds like they got sick of her crap and said do it yourself, which appears she is now doing.

  15. I hope they fire him and then get a black Police chief. That way its all black all the time. You can't blame whitey. There is an old Elvis song "its your baby" (you rock it). Its your black baby, you rock it.

  17. SURPRISE? NOT!

Uber-liberal KCUR (in order to work there you must be 1 or more of the following: Democrat, Liberal-Socialist, LGBTQ, BLM, SJW, former KC Star employee, abortionist, anti-police, atheist, self-identify as a victim, or have below-average IQ) is an agit-prop agent working to turn KCMO into a flaming hellhole.

  20. We need to back the Chief! He’s doing a great job or all these liberal, racist, mostly black people wouldn’t constantly attack him. JPB used to be a good prosecutor. Political ambition is clouding her judgement. And Quinton was a decent guy at one time, now he and she pander to the black racists. They are their ones who divide our city. Let’s get real! More black people are arrested because more black people commit crimes. It’s just like if you shoot up a massage parlor, you’re probably going to kill some Asian workers. If you shoot up a good Bar-B-Que joint, you’re probably going to kill some black people. STAND BY OUR CHIEF!

  21. Eastside Faith Leaders = Felons looking for favor and clout; playing on the emotions of unsuspecting believers. They should be investigated.

  22. Correction. Save the Paseo spanked some Urban Cleric Ass! That ass whipping was well earned. They have a few more on the way...if they don't die from heart disease and diabetes first. These clerics can't be true religious folk, they'd never let their health and bodies become so obese and unrefined. That's how you know they are cons.
