Kansas City Chiefs Sell Clunky Arrowhead Naming Rights Despite Activist Demands To Stop Native American Appropriation

Remember that last year the team promised to conduct a review of the Arrowhead moniker amid outcry against cultural insensitivity that was mostly championed by white dudes at the newspaper.

However, today's corporate cash-in reveals that the review must have turned out well.

Meanwhile, what's lost in this story is that TAXPAYERS FUND THE STADIUM AND WON'T BE GETTING THEIR CUT OF THIS DEAL.

GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, new name for the home of the Chiefs

by: Juan Cisneros Posted: / Updated: KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Arrowhead Stadium will be have a new name starting in the 2021 season. They announced their exclusive naming rights partnership with GEHA and the home of the Kansas City Chiefs will now be known as GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
