As COVID-19 cases fall in KC, health violation complaints also drop
Weekends and evenings at bars and restaurants around Kansas City, Missouri, are looking busier as more people become vaccinated and COVID-19 cases continue to fall.But increased business traffic has not led to a rise in complaints about mask or social distancing violations to the Kansas City Health Department.Complaints to the city's 311 center about health restriction violations have dropped by more than half since December, according to citywide statistics shared with KMBC 9 Investigates.
