Clay County & Kansas City Star Settle Sunshine Lawsuit Slap Fight

Our 2nd favorite busybody civic activists celebrate a dead-tree media victory across the bridge.

The basics after Clay County dropped their appeal . . .

"The Clay County Commission and the Kansas City STAR have agreed to end their lawsuit. The STAR sued the county back in May 2019 for not complying with the Sunshine law. The county has to publicly admit that their handling of the STAR's sunshine request was wrong and that going forward they will comply with the the law."

The newspaper has the info safely hidden behind a paywall.

  1. And there it will stay. Not paying those clowns for anything. Besides, it will be on the radio tomorrow. Isn't it funny how they figured out how capitalism works after they shot their credibility to hell? Oh well. I don't have a vacant building with a bunch of unemployed people. Sucks to be them!
