Police are trying to identify the suspects in this hit-and-run crash that happened near the 31st Street exit off I-70 in the 3000 block of Myrtle on Jan. 20, 2021. The vehicle was determined to have been stolen out of Overland Park. If you have information, call 816-474-TIPS (8477).

It's amazing that ANYONE walked away from this. And they're likely to steal again if they're not caught. Just glad they didn't kill an innocent person who might have wandered into their path.

DeleteIf a KCPD officer sees a stolen auto they look away and let them proceed. When the thief runs out of gas they abandon the auto and steal another. Then the cops call it in and if you are lucky you get your auto back. That's how it works in KCMO.
