This week pay cable newsies will talk a lot about equal treatment under law regarding former Prez Trump and a
panty raid riot at the Capitol that he might or might not have inspired. Luckily, he's a multi-millionaire so the questions about "justice" are mostly theoretical. Meanwhile, the cold & brutal streets of Kansas City offer a more practical lessons in culpability.
To wit . . .
KANSAS CITY MSM AND SPORTS TALKERS LET POLICE SLIDE ON QUESTIONS ABOUT THE LACK OF AN ARREST AFTER BRIT REID REPORTEDLY SAID WE WAS DRINKING BEFORE THE CRASH THAT INJURED A 5-YEAR-OLD GIRL!!!
News fact that po-po shouldn't deny . . .
ANYBODY ELSE WOULD'VE BEEN ARRESTED!!!
Confirmation from a friend of the blog and a former local law man . . .
"Yes, we would have taken you to jail. Do you even have to ask? But every situation is different and I'm not going to second guess anybody; from the sounds of it, it seems like there were a lot of injuries in play and emergency medical assistance was the primary concern. But I don't think it's out of line to question why there wasn't an arrest. I'm kind of surprised about that myself."
Sadly, local MSM didn't press the question but instead offered the public talking points about an extended investigation that might last up to two months.
For better or worse, that span of time will likely move the case out of the viewing public's attention span.
Meanwhile, the youngster remains in the hospital and conversation on the topic is starting to fade.
Accordingly, here's the latest MSM roundup . . .
"Just days before the Super Bowl, Britt Reid, an assistant coach for the Kansas City Chiefs, was involved in a multi-vehicle crash that left a 5-year-old girl in critical condition. Now he’s been placed on leave."
Take a look . . .
