Missouri, Kansas governors oppose federal funding allocation in Biden's stimulus proposal

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Missouri Gov. Mike Parson and Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly are among 22 governors who oppose how federal funds would be allocated to states in President Joe Biden's stimulus proposal. The proposal "allocates aid based on a state's unemployed population, rather than its actual population," according to a joint statement issued Saturday .

Sure miss that record low unemployment President Trump created. We wouldnt need all this stimulus if everyone was at work.

  9. I sorta agree with the Republicans and the pork spending posing as stimulus to the American people. I’m not complaining because I’m hoping for significant stimulus cash to fund my business. However, doling out money to the poor - when they only use it to buy second-hand cars, gold teeth and other BS, you have to wonder how bad a shape is the economy really in? I mean, I drive by large shopping districts and people are there in droves buying stuff. Maybe I can’t see the trouble from my vantage point.
