KCPS School board lays out potential hybrid plan for return to class

On the Missouri side of the state line, Kansas City Public School officials are releasing a plan to parents today detailing a plan to return to in-person learning. Like many districts across the metro, the youngest students in KCPS, like elementary students, will be the first to return to the classroom according to a plan laid out at a School Board meeting Wednesday night.

  4. The full truth didn't come out on about the district providing false attendance number to the State. KCPS claimed it was isolated and Bedel claimed it didn't happen on his watch but that is simply not true. In order to get accredited, the district must lie to the state about attendance numbers. They will never get 90% of their kids to be at school and in class 90% of the time. Sorry Charlie!
