Credit where it's due, this developer hack blog reminds us that the toy train plan continues to move forward with a sketchy real estate speculation gambit that will likely force out a fried fish place. Whilst local arteries might be happy about the move, it's uncertain if will inspire investment given that the American economy has fundamentally changed and is no longer predicated on commuting via the meatspace.

By Kevin Collison Another key corner along the planned Main Street streetcar route at 31st street has been acquired by a developer including the 115 year-old Jeserich building and an adjacent building housing Lufti's Fried Fish.
Any idea how much the developer paid for the property on 31st and Main ?
