KCMO Public Works prepares for early pothole season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City's Public Works department received 2,100 pothole complaints on Feb. 21-22, 2019, alone and the city's struggles to fix the road craters created stress and irritation for thousands of drivers. Two years later, city officials said Monday they're in pretty good shape as pothole season arrives again.
Starts now? When did it end?

Particularly bad winter weather!
Budget constraints!

For all of those who complain about the potholes, street lighting, curbs and sidewalks just remember the City took your general fund money and spent $100 plus million on the 18th and Vine district.
ReplyDeleteThank you Clever, James, Reed, and others who enabled this irresponsible spending of city funds.
^^so? I don't care. You shouldn't either.
ReplyDeleteDon't fuck with my bike lanes money!

ReplyDeleteAttempting to spin low-information voters, Quinton launched into a speech about the need to legalize recreational potholes!!!
Legit question for the politically connected or aware: is there a way to force an audit of the GO bond funds? Not that the 80% progressives of KC give a rats ass about knowing where their money went as long as a progressive is in control. I'm sure AF curious. That scratch was s'pposed to be used for infrastructure repair and maintenance. I frankly haven't seen much activity driving around my neck of the woods for any number of years, before or after that boondoggle.
ReplyDelete^No. There's not. You're on a need to know basis, and you don't need to know.
