With dangerously cold temps, homeless shelters expect to be busy

Dangerously cold temperatures have area shelters doing all they can to add beds, hoping those who are out in the cold will choose to come inside."You can't stand five minutes out there without your hands freezing up," said Tony Temple. Temple is outside every single day.

  1. God bless those helping the homeless with the weather so bitterly cold...it puts everything in perspective...we are here to take care of the least amongst us. Not everyone lives in big houses in Leawood. Thank you for taking care of these people.
