ReplyDeleteWhy are they starting in Lee's Summit didn't they soak em enough last time? Don't forget to soak Central Hyde Park a little more, those folks got off pretty easy last time, 3,000 to 4,000 sf and only 4,500 to 5,000 a year. Come On Man.

Equitable soakability for all. The rest of us got soaked last time. At least this time, they are actually driving around taking pictures and inspecting instead of relying on google earth photos only. Maybe you'll end up with a fair assessment.
ReplyDeleteA fair assessment is like military intelligence, both are oxymorons.
DeleteDO NOT RENEW THE E-TAX!!!!! IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE CONSERVATIVE, WHITE, OR LIVE
ReplyDeleteOUTSIDE DOWNTOWN, THOSE DOLLARS GO TO DOWNTOWN INTERESTS, ADMINISTRATION
INSIDERS, PEOPLE AND GROUPS WHO HATE YOU. YOU ARE FINANCING YOUR OWN DOWNFALL

@ 12:59 I really don't think people hate race or whatever you caps lock approves of. Yes, it's an unaccountable cash cow for this city. I'm on the fence unless they can show us where the e-tax is spent.
ReplyDeleteLook at the toy train and empty convention hotel. It sure isn't spent on taxpayer services or public safety.

ReplyDeleteTime to move out of Jackson County. Taxes as high as Johnson County, Kansas but only 1/10th the services and ten times the crime. Jackson County already raised everyone's property taxes 20% or more the last time around.
ReplyDeleteMarxist Democrat Party targeting working whites again for higher taxes.
ReplyDeleteLast year most in LS got hit with 14.99% hike because thats all they could raise it without these field assessments. Now they will have free reign to raise it as much as they want. They will just ignore the appeals like last year.
