If Kansas City Star Objects To Chiefs Using 'Native American Imagery' Then They Should Stop Profiting From Coverage Of The Team

If the local newspaper was really serious about any of their objections to the team's moniker then they would adjust their coverage and focus their attention elsewhere whilst letting KC fans enjoy the big game in peace.

Instead, they're just running OUTRAGE PR0N and trying to garner attention like some n00b blogger.

What's worse is that social media complaints are far more genuine and earnest whilst the newspaper hopping on this bandwagon now that they're working with a skeleton crew also seems like a bit of appropriation.

Today's example . . .

As the Super Bowl nears, why are the Chiefs still using Native American imagery?

Like most Kansas Citians, we wish the best of luck Sunday to the Chiefs, who will compete in their second straight Super Bowl. The team won last year. We like their chances this year. Millions of casual football fans will watch the game.

  1. Truly who cares what the star says....what they fail to realize is that they are immaterial to the city

Current and recent former publisher, editors have ruined the once great paper

  2. The "Chief" was H. Roe Bartle.

That said, if teams are so woke, they want to rename the Chiefs "The White Knights" it wouldn't piss me off and I might actually watch the game. Native Americans are revered by pro sports teams for their history and ferocity in the 19th century. Whateva - If they want to be forgotten and dismissed, there is no better way, than to remove them from the public eye.

I love the sound of "THE WHITE KNIGHTS"!!!!!

That will never happen. The Beta Boys at the KC Star and Clark "I'm so woke" Hunt will probably rename them the "Menarche Marauders" in order to save money on the uniforms, which, would have to be red.

  10. Clark Hunt should return the $250 million dollars of Jackson County taxpayer dollars to the taxpayers as an apology for using a hateful, racist moniker for his football team.

Clark, Bunker, Lamar are all a bunch of inbred oil barons.

  13. Yes, they should use an African symbol, maybe a Transgender LGBT dickless representation ? Maybe an illegal alien from Africa transgender femanazi with one leg. One with drug problems and issues dealing with the public due to Covid and raised by a propaganda agenda News system instead of thinking everything doesn't have to be an "ISM ", when not on Xbox 24/7. Just so we catch the majority of the promoted. I'm deeply offended. Perhaps Needy of some sort of Welfare to cope with all this stress.
