Kansas hospital announces minimum wage of $15 per hour

MISSION, Kan. - A Kansas City, Kansas, hospital has raised its minimum hourly wage to $15. The University of Kansas Health System said in a news release that the change took effect Sunday and will be reflected in paychecks beginning March 5.

  4. The Congressional Budget Office said that $15 an hour will cost 1.5 million job losses and you can plan on higher prices for everything.

  5. Ok, it might cost 1.4 million jobs, but these are people the government should be able to hire back, so in the end it will cost nobody their job.
