Survey Seyz Support Slipping For Embattled Missouri Senator Josh Hawley

This polling company isn't completely biased and their surveys show up on both Fox news & CNN from time to time.

Their latest gem is clever if only because it still reveals pretty much unanimous support for Sen. Hawley in a decidedly red state . . .

Morning Consult poll shows Hawley's approval rating in Missouri has declined from 42 percent to 36 percent following the events of January 6.

While a majority of Republicans in the state still support Hawley, his approval among GOP voters had fallen 9 points up to January 18. The senator enjoyed 63 percent approval among Republicans in the typically red state, down from 72 percent.

Josh Hawley draws fire from GOP ex-Missouri senator as approval rating slides

Former Missouri Senator Jack Danforth has strongly criticized Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) following his decision to support objections to some Electoral College results on January 6. Danforth, a Republican, represented Missouri in the Senate from 1976 until 1995 and is considered a political mentor of Hawley's and strongly encouraged his political ambitions.

  2. The Libtard media has lost all credibility. Thanks to Trump raising awareness of fake news, more Americans know they can't trust most of the information being distributed as balanced reporting.

  3. I’d rather hear the opinion of a guy working at a gas station than a politician that has no idea how his own policies effect the rest of us
So saying Danforth is upset with Hawley means nothing

  5. 8:48 - exactly.

    This from Forbes -

"Hawley’s popularity with Republicans nationwide actually improved after the riot as he gained more name recognition: 23% viewed him favorably Jan. 4-5 as compared with 27% on Jan. 20-21, and the share of voters who said they never heard of him or had no opinion decreased from 67% to 60%."

The shelf life of any given poll (Even Rasmussen which is historically the most accurate.) is a couple of days tops and then in the hurly burly of the 24/7 news cycle the information is no more relevant than the ravings of "CHUD BOY" here on this blog.

Polls are now acknowledged by those with even a cursory interest in politics and current events to be tools enabled to shape opinions and are no more "objective" than George StephoLIEanous.

Polls are just as biased as the Main Stream Media and the instances of "Oversampling" the people who will produce the desired result for the organizations (Read - D卐M☭CRATs) who pay for the polls in conjunction with how the question is posed and the words used in said question manipulates the results so dramatically, that ANY poll is called into question from both sides on ANY issue.

Hawley's recognition in the Forbes article went up and that is something that actually counts.

Again, if he ran for office tomorrow in Mo. against Mother Theresa and John fuckin Kennedy, he would win in a landslide.

  6. The polls said the democrats were going win in a landslide in November. Hillary had a 99% chance of winning in 2016. Polls are just another tool of the democrat media to try to control the narrative that everyone loves the dummocrats.

  8. Hawley has more likely enjoyed a bump in the polls among Missouri Republicans.

Morning Consult polls are not totally one-sided; that's true. But, they're not 100% biased in the same way the NY times isn't 100% biased.

After all, the Times is still fairly honest about the daily weather forecast.

  10. 9:21 Up to this point and, I am less than sanguine that things will change, I agree.

Republicans ARE pussies and bend the knee to the D卐M☭CRATs every chance they get. Republicans benefit from being the minority party.

    SUNDANCE -

"First, McConnell doesn’t care about holding a majority position in the Senate. Whether he is a majority leader or a minority leader doesn’t matter to McConnell. In fact McConnell’s political skill-set does better in the minority than the majority.

The preferred political position for Mitch McConnell is where he has between 45 and 49 republican Senators, and the Democrats hold the Majority with around 55. Of course with Senator Harry Reid’s retirement, this would now imply Majority leader Chuck Schumer holding office.

Why does McConnell prefer the minority position?

The answer is where you have had to actually follow Mitch McConnell closely to see how he works. When the Majority has around 52 to 55 seats, they need McConnell to give them 8 to 9 votes to overcome the three-fifths (60 vote) threshold for their legislative needs. It is in the process of trade and payment for those 8 to 9 votes where McConnell makes more money, and holds more power, than as a sitting Majority Leader."

  11. The 60 vote threshold, and McConnell’s incredible skillset in the minority, is where he shines. Each of the needed votes to achieve sixty is worth buckets of indulgence to the minority leader and those on K-Street who need the Senate to support their legislative constructs. The votes to get to sixty are worth a lot of money.

This institutional dynamic is the currency of affluence and influence in the Senate; this is why Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell never changed the Senate rules for legislative passage. This is why the filibuster was retained and why the 60 vote threshold was always beneficial to both parties. The color of the flag atop the spire matters not.

Except for budget passage (reconciliation); and McConnell being forced by intransigence in the era of Trump resistance to change the judicial vote threshold to 51; McConnell would never consider changing the legislative threshold (60 votes) to a simple majority (51 votes) because it would be removing his favored position.

A simple majority vote is adverse to the institutional interests. That is why McConnell retained it during his reign as majority leader; as did Harry Reid before him.

The process of selling votes to the 60-vote threshold in the Senate is where the UniParty operates; and where the status of maximum financial benefit for the minority exists.

THAT is why, NOHTHING will come of the "investigations" into corruption in the D.C. Swamp.

The UNI-PARTY all benefits from our blood, toil and sweat, why they sell us out to overseas interests, the Chinese Communists, BIG TECH, Wall Street, which in turn, benefits the 4th Estate and the Deep State - THIS IS WHY TRUMP AND HAWLEY ARE SUCH A THREAT.

  15. The inflection point in the conversations, here in this blog and throughout the nation, in every bar, in every home, in every public setting (Except most news and cable organizations where it is VERBOTEN!) is the election fraud of 2020.

THAT is what blew up the town square and called into question, literally any and everything that either side thought was a constant in the ongoing discourse and disagreements that defined the so called difference of opinions between the right and the left.

NOW, even on the Left, the average D卐M☭CRAT voter, knows, that election fraud, if it can be used against one side, it can be used against the other side.

This boil, will be lanced in one way or another. The necrosis festers and spreads.

Too many variables to assess, but, this fraud, will not stand.

  16. The Demoncraps are experts in using the judicial system to unfairly attack their opponents and alter fair elections. They love to spend American taxpayer money on their quests for power even when they know they don't have a good case. They know the liberal media will at least help them get negative headlines and stories out to the public until they finally lose after our millions are spent needlessly. They don't mind spending our money for their obsession with power.
