Missouri Republicans move to limit health officials' power
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Republican senators in Missouri on Wednesday debated ways to check health officials' power in response to their handling of the coronavirus pandemic. One proposal would ensure there are no government-imposed occupancy limits on churches and other places of worship during public health emergencies.
We don't want Hoosiers from Springfield MO determining our healthcare. Keep in mind that Assembly O' God pharmacist who killed 250 people in Kansas City?
ReplyDeleteOr keep in mind the constant reverses, lies, and fearmongering from the 'experts'.
DeleteIt's about time.
ReplyDeleteDouble edged sword. In Counties with the radical progressive bureaucrat health department directors, they got the response that the vast majority of their citizenry wanted by way of prog votes. Jackson County, St. Louis County, Boone, and whatever Springfield is, got their economies fvcked like a squealing pig, and mandatory face diapers for the bullshit emanating from their pieholes. The further you get from the metro areas, the less overreach of power you got. If the State was making those decisions from on high, well, it works for me now with Reps in charge, but MO was a classic blue state for a long damn time not all that long ago. I would prefer to maintain decentralized power rather than aggregate it.
ReplyDeleteSomebody has to shut the overbearing assholes that are on a power trip in the interest of science down.
